The contract covers the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of a fully integrated Air Traffic Control (ATC) and meteorological solution for two key airports, delivering ICAO-compliant infrastructure to enhance operational safety and efficiency.
Project Scope: Two Strategic Aviation Gateways
The project will be implemented at two critical aviation hubs:
- Honiara International Airport (HIR) — the country’s primary international gateway
- Munda Airport (MUA) — an important domestic and regional aerodrome
Both airports will be equipped with a comprehensive ATC and meteorological system, fully compliant with ICAO standards and certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Solomon Islands (CAASI).
