Dicom Technology Company Ltd. is delighted to announce the successful completion of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and the start of operational use of the Dicom ICS2020 VCCS for the new airport project in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Noida International Airport (DXN) is a new greenfield airport located in Jewar, serving the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) and designed for a first-phase capacity of up to 12 million passengers per year.
The SAT is a critical phase in any large-scale deployment, as it verifies system performance, reliability and functional compliance directly at the operational site. At Noida International Airport, the ICS2020 VCCS has been thoroughly tested in its real working environment, ensuring that all technical, operational and safety requirements defined by AAI have been fully met. The successful completion of this phase demonstrates Dicom’s capability to deliver high-performance communication systems tailored to demanding ATC environments.
With the ICS2020 VCCS now in operational use at Noida International Airport, the system is fully integrated into local air traffic control operations in Jewar. It provides a concrete technical reference for future voice communication projects within AAI’s network, including other airports and Area Control Centres covered by the same program.
