Project Scope: Two Strategic Aviation Gateways

The project will be implemented at two critical aviation hubs:

• Honiara International Airport (HIR) — the country’s primary international gateway
• Munda Airport (MUA) — an important domestic and regional aerodrome

Both airports will be equipped with a comprehensive ATC and meteorological system, fully compliant with ICAO standards and certified by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Solomon Islands (CAASI).

• Multi-source recording with unlimited channel scalability across analogue audio, digital audio (T1/E1/ISDN PRI), VoIP (RTP, ED-137B/C, SIP), screen images, radar feeds, CCTV video, ambient microphones, input devices (keyboard/mouse), and Ethernet data (UDP/TCP; unicast/multicast/broadcast).
• Live monitoring enables authorized users to listen to active channels in real time and view a consolidated list of channel status for immediate operational awareness.
• Millisecond-precise synchronized playback correlates multi-source evidence and supports replay of up to 64 channels simultaneously for accurate event reconstruction.
• Time discipline support (NTP and/or IRIG-B) helps maintain consistent timestamps during capture and reliable alignment during replay across server and client environments.
• Protected Mode preserves selected channels’ recordings by excluding them from normal data lifecycle rules, such as retention-based deletion or storage-threshold cleanup.
• Quarantine data copies selected recordings from primary storage into a dedicated quarantine area to secure critical evidence early and optionally restrict visibility (e.g., public/private access).
• Impound data packages selected evidence into an AES-256 encrypted, password-protected BIN file to support secure transport, legal hold, and chain-of-custody requirements.
• Archiving data copies all recordings within a selected time interval to a user-designated archive location for long-term retention and later review.
• Export data enables fast extraction of recordings for routine analysis or quick sharing where legal-grade evidence handling is not required (non-encrypted export).
• Speech-to-Text converts recorded speech into searchable text to accelerate review, investigation, and audit workflows.
• Audit Trail provide governance-ready traceability of user activity and actions to strengthen accountability and support compliance reporting.
• Customizable dashboards deliver a real-time overview of system health, alarms, storage capacity, and performance metrics using configurable charts and widgets.
• Skylogix Media Player is a standalone workstation application for replaying archived and impounded data with synchronized multi-source review, including use in offline environments.
